Edgewood Center for Children and Families is a non profit organization that provides behavioral health services. I worked in the Development Department on the San Francisco campus where I conducted extensive research on possible sponsors and donors for our upcoming events among other projects. While working at Edgewood I learned about building and cultivating relationships both inside and outside the organization. In my presentation I will elaborate on what I learned from my experience and the challenges I faced while working in a city like San Francisco. Most importantly, I will talk about the effect of this internship on my future goals.
