The Citi that Never Sleeps: Life as a Wall St. Intern

Citigroup Inc. (or Citi) is an American multinational banking institution that has the world's leading financial services network, spanning over 140 countries and holding 200 million customer accounts. This summer, as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst in the Institutional Clients Group at the Citi headquarters in New York, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the exhilarating environment of the trading floors. To gain a holistic understanding of the capital markets, I rotated through Cash Equities, Prime Finance (Structured Lending) and Leverage Loans, shadowing traders and salespeople to get a sense of each desk and it's place in the overall structure. I ended each rotation with a formal pitch presentation to an audience of traders and salespeople. In this panel, I will be sharing my trade idea from the credit group, one that wasn't necessarily the most popular, but was recognized as financially feasible.
