From Bonjour to مرحبا: My Moroccan Ride

I have lived in a country that did not exactly resemble Aladdin’s magic carpet ride because it felt more like a Petite Taxi ride to me. Zooming through and around bumps in the rues of Casablanca, Morocco has really expanded my mind. From emerging myself into an Arabic, yet Francophone country, to surrounding myself around a plethora of young business professionals in a co-working space; I have been able to see a growth within myself academically, socially, and professionally. Not only have I been able to learn about the cultural aspect of this “whole new world”, but I have also been able to learn about entrepreneurial side as well. Having the opportunity to work a global, start-up, non-profit organization has allowed me to learn more about what I would like to pursue, as I get ready to commence my new adventures as I fly through the gates after Mount Holyoke. Come, join me as I reminisce through my six-week journey (in about eight minutes), as you too can look through the lenses of my Petite Taxi ride — just don’t forget your seatbelt!
