Research with No fear / Cheers!
Fending for myself in UK was an educational experience in itself, but my experience as a research intern at Lancaster University opened up an entire world of insight and opportunity. While under the supervision of an established expert in the arena of historic GIS (geographic information system), I learned how to confidently navigate new research techniques. Networking with professors from around the globe and contributing to professional conferences was also a valuable experience and I am now excited to begin a career in spatial research.
