Empowering Women Leaders for Today and Tomorrow
Currently, representation of women in our political system is merely 20 percent. Women want to hold office, but something is holding them back. Empowering women by creating a supportive network is critical to women’s leadership positions. Grassroots engagement, mentoring one another and uniting communities in a concerted effort fosters partnerships to develop the network for success. This presentation will examine leadership qualities such as risk taking, communication strategies, building networks and creating new pathways to nurture quintessential leadership skills.
