Château de Chantilly: Exploring Art and Culture in France

As an art and language lover, I was excited to travel to the northern part of France to become a tour guide at Château de Chantilly. The château is the home of Musée Condé, the second largest museum of historical paintings, illuminated manuscripts and ancient books found in France. Due to the massive collection of masterpieces in Château de Chantilly, the museum attracts approximately half a million tourists each year so I found myself not only interacting with people from France, but with people from all over the world. In my presentation, I will discuss what it is like working in a historic museum and the challenges I faced while working in a foreign country.
