To Serve And Not To Be Served
We are all called to serve humanity and I like to uphold that calling with all seriousness. I interned at AARP, a leading social mission organization with a membership of 37 million throughout the United States of America and I served as the Outreach Intern for the District of Columbia. In that position, I served in various capacities however, my greatest responsibility was being the lead on all Caribbean Outreach and Engagement Affairs which was initiated for the purposes of diversity and inclusion. I will discuss my various activities and challenges in that position and how I executed them innovatively. AARP's mission resonates with my vision of service and I gained a fulfilling experience as well as a plethora of information and knowledge.
