You have heard about networking before. You have been told that networking is the key to a successful career. Basically, ever since you have started college, you were bombarded with messages that can be summed up to one sentence: “If you know how to network, you will go far in life”. 

 

Guess what? Networking is the key to a successful career and you will go far in life if you know how to network. Why? Unless you are completely self-sufficient, you will have to communicate with others. 

 

During my LEAP presentation, I will tell you how much my film internship taught me about the art and science of networking. I will explain how, as a creative person, you need to learn how to sell your creativity and how in order to sell your creativity, you need to meet and talk to people who will help you with your projects.
