Donors, Initiatives and Finance Gaps

The United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has staff and programs in 190 countries globally. With over 200 offices scatted all over the world and the bulk of their organizational resources going to funding initiatives, it is crucial for UNICEF to ensure that their donors know about the particular projects that have been successful and those that have been expensive but disappointing ventures. My presentation will focus on how UNICEF, particularly the Advocacy and Policy Unit, has managed to connect to its donor base as the number of initiatives they support multiply and become even more technically distant to potential donors.
