Shrinking the Lens: How Local Wasn't Small Enough
A summer internship is an opportunity to explore a specific career path. Some walk away from the experience with a renewed sense of purpose in their desired fields while others are inspired to pursue something entirely different. This presentation will focus on what happens when an internship is an amazing experience but ultimately not the perfect fit. How does one opportunity lead to another? Can a person be inspired by the wrong path? From the State House and City Hall to birthing centers and hospitals, the intern discusses how, and why, she changed her path.
