Drawing Back the Curtain: Finding the Connections Between the Administrative World and the Classroom
The New York City Department of Education is the largest public school district in the United States and serves over 1.1 million students within 1,800 schools. With central offices spread throughout New York City, it can be difficult to maneuver the different office politics and culture of each building. Within the Department of Human Resources, the Organizational Services Unit works to improve workplace environments across all central offices in the DOE.
