The College may only procure/purchase/recommend Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) that will provide the same programs, benefits, and services to individuals with disabilities as they do to individuals without disabilities.

Technology bidders must meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards [1] for web-based technology and Section 508 standards [2] for other EIT's. Contracts with these vendors must include a section on adherence to these standards.

The only exception to these procedures shall be when to do so would fundamentally alter a program or when it is not technically feasible to do so, in which case the procedures will require the institution to provide accessible alternate EIT's.
