Allergy Injections

Receiving your allergy injections at Health Services

If you are a new or returning student who has been seeing an allergist for allergy injections and you would like to start receiving your injections at Health Services, please:

• Notify Health Services via email at health-admin@mtholyoke.edu
• Complete the allergy intake form and email to health-admin@mtholyoke.edu or mail to Health Services at 50 College Street, South Hadley, MA 01075
• Have your allergist provide information to Health Services regarding your allergy history, allergy injection schedule and guidelines and record of your recent injections. They can either mail it to: Groves Health Center, Mount Holyoke College, 50 College Street, South Hadley, MA 01075 or fax it to 413-538-2352.

Once we have received the paperwork and have reviewed it we will contact you to set up your first appointment. Please allow up to one week after receipt of the paperwork for processing.

Note: Your allergist may mail your serum to Health Services or you may choose to deliver properly refrigerated serum to us upon your arrival. If your serum is not properly handled it may cause a delay in our ability to administer it to you.

Cost

There is no charge to students who participate in either the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan or the Prepaid Health Center Option. If both options are waived, there is a $20.00 injection fee for each visit.
