For Employees hired after June 30, 2010
If you have worked the equivalent of five full years, you are eligible to apply for a waiver of the full tuition for your dependent* daughter at Mount Holyoke College provided she is accepted as a full-time undergraduate day student. If residence hall rooms are available, a student may live on campus. You must pay room and board charges in full.
Once you have been notified that your daughter has been accepted as an undergraduate, you must complete an application for Mount Holyoke College tuition waiver which is available in the Human Resources Department.
*Dependent is defined in accordance with IRS regulations as: (1) a legal dependent of the faculty or staff member for at least two years prior to application; and (2) dependent child must still live at home with parent being responsible for 50% or more of their finances and (3) dependent child must be under age 24.
For Employees hired before July 1, 2010:
If you have been a full-time staff member for at least three calendar years, i.e., a total of 36 months of employment, you are eligible to apply for a waiver of the full tuition for your dependent* daughter at Mount Holyoke College provided she is accepted as a full-time undergraduate day student. If residence hall rooms are available, a student may live on campus. You must pay room and board charges in full.
If you are a part-time staff member, working at least 20 hours per week for either the academic or fiscal year, and have the equivalent of three years of service, you are eligible to apply for a waiver of the full tuition for your dependent* daughter.
Once you have been notified that your daughter has been accepted as an undergraduate, you must complete the Tuition Waiver Application which is also available in the Human Resources Office.
