Tuition Reimbursement

Tuition reimbursement is available for higher education courses taken for credit at other accredited institutions and for credit-bearing courses offered by Mount Holyoke’s Professional and Graduate Education (PAGE) program with the following provisions.

  • Six month waiting period for new employees prior to enrolling in the course
  • Pro-rated for part-time employees
  • The College will reimburse up to $500.00 per course per semester with a maximum of $1,000.00 per fiscal year
  • PAGE courses will need to meet minimum non-MHC enrollment in order to proceed.

Undergraduate courses: Requires a C grade or better
Graduate courses:  Requires a B grade or better
 
Effective 1/1/02, tuition reimbursement for Graduate courses is no longer considered taxable income by the IRS but is taxable by the State of Massachusetts.

At the end of the semester, the employee will complete the Tuition Reimbursement Form and submit along with a copy of their final grade to the Human Resources Department. Forms for reimbursement must be submitted before the end of the fiscal year.
