Disposal of Expired Medications

Expired over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription medications should not be put in the trash of down the drain or toilet. Students should bring expired OTC and and prescription medications to Health Services for proper disposal. Faculty and staff should contact their local Board of Health for disposal options in their community. Drop off boxes are located in police stations in South Hadley, Amherst, Belchertown, Northampton, Easthampton and Granby.
