Reduction in Staff and Job Rights

When circumstances such as a reorganization or other operational necessity require a reduction in staff within an office or department resulting in the elimination of a position and/or the possible termination of any staff member through no fault of his/her own, the department and the Human Resources Department will attempt to assist the employee to obtain alternative employment at the College. The College will, with the employee, review available positions, and, if the employee is qualified, attempt to facilitate a transfer to an appropriate position.
