Equestrian Center

As a staff member you are welcome to take advantage of the modern facilities and excellent equestrian program offered by the College. Described by Town & Country magazine as having "hands down … the finest east coast equestrian facilities" among colleges, the Equestrian Center is set on 20-acres off of Park Street adjacent to Ham and MacGregor Halls. With a state-of-the art 60-stall barn, two indoor arenas, an outdoor hunt course, beautiful new fibar dressage arena, and cross country course, Mount Holyoke College boasts one of the finest riding facilities available to students anywhere.

The indoor arenas permit as many as three teaching sessions to be run simultaneously, allowing the kind of scheduling flexibility needed to accommodate academic as well as equestrian interests. The overall facility has been designed to support instruction in dressage, jumping, hunter seat equitation, combined training, and driving.
