Should you encounter a temporary crisis in personal finances caused by some unforeseen emergency situation; a reasonable request for a salary advance will be considered if funds to meet the emergency are unavailable from conventional sources (credit union, bank, etc.). Staff members who work regular schedules of half-time or more may, in emergency circumstances, request a salary advance. Requests for salary advances of a month or less should explain the emergency circumstances and be addressed in writing to the Compensation and Payroll Manager, Human Resources Department, requests for longer periods of time should be addressed to the Director of Human Resources.
