Laura Sattler
Laura is joining Mount Holyoke College as Director of Student Involvement. Originally from New Hampshire, Laura has worked at institutions in Colorado and Massachusetts in Residential Life and New Student Orientation & Transitions Programs. Laura lives in South Hadley with her partner, Scott, and their 2 dogs -- Charlie & Reef. Laura is looking forward to working with the Office of Student Involvement to create purposeful and engaging experiences on campus for all students.
Jaime DeCaro
Jaime DeCaro (she, her) focuses on co-curricular engagement through encouraging student leadership and participation in student organizations, advising student groups and the First Year Class Board, and facilitating campus community traditions. She collaborates with campus partners to plan and implement large campus programs and manages Embark, the division's student engagement platform. She is the Manager of Blanchard Hall, and also manages the daily operations and services of the office, including financial transactions and the hiring, supervision and ongoing training of the student employee office and Blanchard Information Desk staff.
Tim Dietrick
As Technical Director, Tim oversees the operation and function of the two largest venues on campus: The Great Room in the Community Center and Chapin Auditorium. He is also the Chief Operator of WMHC, managing the needs of the college's historic radio station. Tim works in tandem with the rest of the Student Involvement office to advise and focus student ideas into reality-based events of any size.
Kimberly Lavoie
Kim serves as the coordinator of the Student Business Office and Ways & Means Committee (funding board). She is responsible for all operations, including supervising student staff bookkeepers. She oversees the account management of distributed SGA funds, manages all transactions from student organization and residence hall accounts: making purchases, processing requests for payment, making deposits, etc., and provides student treasurer support and guidance. She responds to inquires both in person and by telephone, with students and staff in regards to funding guidelines and account processes.
Justin Terlisner
Justin oversees a variety of programs in the Office of Student Involvement that encourages students to engage with the many co-curricular opportunities offered on campus. With the assistance of the Student Involvement Consultants, he assists student groups with event planning and approval, provides ad hoc advising to student leaders, and facilitates team building and leadership development programs. Justin oversees several community-building events on campus that are sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement, in addition to serving as the advisor to several student groups, boards, and committees.
