Student Internships, Research Opportunities and Leadership Programs

Mount Holyoke students are prepared to address local and global environmental issues. Beyond the College’s physical setting and the diversity of its onsite ecosystems, the Pioneer Valley is one of New England’s most intellectually vibrant locations. The valley is well-known as an incubator for research and innovation in renewable energies, green design and construction and sustainable farming systems. The College has developed long-term relationships with many organizations in the area and around the world where students can carry out internships.

The Miller Worley Center for the Environment offers competitive summer fellowships which fund high-quality, selected internships developed exclusively for Mount Holyoke students. The Restoration Ecology Program also offers a summer internship program.
