Kaia Zimmerman

Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations

As Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations, Kaia Zimmerman provides meaningful stewardship to major gift donors and prospects and manages memorial and tribute giving programs. She is responsible for managing named spaces campus-wide, developing donor recognition opportunities, and collaborating with colleagues in Advancement to provide engagement opportunities.

Zimmerman graduated from Sarah Lawrence College where she took an interdisciplinary course of study with concentrations in both the social sciences and visual arts.

After graduating, Kaia worked with a community-based development organization in New York City where she gained experience with event management, community engagement, and communications, specifically focused on issues related to education and affordable housing. She soon realized her passion for working in higher education, and prior to arriving at Mount Holyoke College she worked at Hampshire College as an Interim Operations Coordinator for CLPP, and at Rutgers Business School as a Program Coordinator. In these roles she gained experience with student engagement, admissions, and operations. In her spare time, Kaia enjoys painting and exploring the beautiful forests of Western Massachusetts.
