The Purchasing Card Program is a tool that offers an alternative to the College's purchasing process. It provides an extremely efficient and effective way of purchasing and paying for items.
Mount Holyoke College has contracted with US Bank to provide a VISA credit card program. This utilizes an on-line portal called Access Online to manage purchasing card accounts and Workday to reconcile, review and approve purchases.
This program has two different cards available for request; A Travel & Entertainment Card and a Procurement Card.
To make a request for one or both of the offered purchasing cards, please complete the US Bank Purchasing Card Request Form. Some things to note BEFORE applying:
- Manager Approval is required for all applications. Your manager can be found in Workday by selecting the profile icon in the upper right corner > View Profile. It is noted above Job Details.
- Approval should be in the form of an email from your manager approving the request and spending limits that is forwarded to purchasing-card-support-l@mtholyoke.edu.
- If requesting both a Travel & Entertainment Card and a Procurement Card, approval must clearly approve each card and each cards spending limits.
- Once submitted, a Purchasing Card Administrator will review and process the request. You will receive an email with instructions for the next step to obtain the card(s).
