Summer in the City: A Photojournalist Experience
This past summer I interned at the SF Examiner, one of the major daily newspapers in San Francisco. I worked for the photography department, collaborating with editors and writers in order to produce the art for the daily stories. Some of my responsibilities included scheduling photo shoots, covering breaking news, creating slideshows, writing captions and editing photographs. I’d like to give a glance at how dynamic and challenging my summer experience was. From the steps I had to take prior to starting the internship, to the struggles I had to overcome and the action I was able to capture in this vibrant metropolitan city.
