Institutional Planning and Research
The Office of Institutional Planning and Research guides and supports Mount Holyoke’s institutional planning processes.
It combines the College’s long-standing Institutional Research office, staffed by the Director and Assistant Director of Institutional Research, with a new Institutional Planning function, led by the President and the Senior Advisor to the President.
The mission of the Office of Institutional Research is to provide consistent, standard, and objective data to support MHC's enrollment, planning, and policy decisions.
Facilities master plans typically cover a decade or more, and planning extends beyond the physical plant and must incorporate needs related to academic programming and student life.
Mount Holyoke was initially accredited in 1929. The College has been continuously accredited since, and is presently accredited at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
