Health and safety updates as of October 6, 2021

Effective immediately, the College will allow in-person events to take place while utilizing the following health and safety guidelines.

For student events

  • Approved, recognized indoor student organization-sponsored Level 4 events may be held at a 50% capacity.
  • Approved, recognized indoor student organization-sponsored Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 events should be held at 75% capacity. This includes recreational and athletic events.

For College-wide events

  • Indoor events that extend beyond a class or department event should be held at 75% capacity. This includes recreational and athletic events.

Food and beverages will be permitted for all types of events, including those held indoors, with no restrictions other than effective capacity limits and in accordance with Massachusetts food and beverage laws.

Performers in both indoor and outdoor venues no longer need to wear a mask while performing or rehearsing. Masks should continue to be worn by non-performing individuals (directors, crew members, etc.) and audience members. Distancing should continue where possible and performers must maintain at least six feet of distance from the audience.

Members of the College community should continue to wear masks, practice safe physical distancing in social settings and when possible and adhere to testing policies.
